Earth Hour

Earth Hour

This Saturday, March 29, marks the tenth official Earth Hour event.  For one hour, from 8:30PM to 9:30PM wherever you are in the world, switch off your lights and take a stand to help save the planet.

While you may be just one person or one house, together we make a community and can make a communal difference.

Save the date and see the world unite.  Learn more about how you can make a difference at http://earthhour.org

At Inglenook Warm Hearth = Warm Heart, Hands, and everything in between

Between the freezing temperatures and the unending snowfall homes have been put to the test these last few days. Our Inglenook homes were no different as we faced the -40 degree wind chill coupled with a nine-hour Carmel power outage.  While the temperature outside continued to fall, the temperatures inside our cozy cottage-style homes held strong further proving the quality of Land Development’s construction and build.

We received the following email from one of our Inglenook homeowners:

Casey,

Just wanted to brag about my house to you.  Our power was out for 9 hours and the wind chill during that time was -41 degrees.  When the power came back on, my house had ONLY lost 14 degrees.  I think that is pretty darn good considering the temperature and wind chill to maintain that much heat under those circumstances!  Way to go Casey!

Warm up with us at Inglenook Wednesday-Friday, 1-5PM and Saturday-Sunday, 1-4PM.  To schedule a private tour please contact us at 317.767.9760 or via email at inglenookcarmel@gmail.com.
