At Inglenook Cottage Homes we believe the quality of product is important in every aspect of your home. From the inside out, here’s a full list of base features included in Inglenook Cottage Homes. 

FINE FINISHES - From the floors to the ceilings, the attention to detail within our Inglenook Cottage Homes brings comfort, charm, and character. Each room is adorned with classic cottage-style trim. Granite countertops complete the kitchen space. Rich hardwood flooring runs throughout the first floor.  The second floor is carpeted with 40-oz. Mohawk Smartstrand ® carpet. Smartstrand ® looks great and is the only carpet with built-in stain and soil resistance, making it long-lasting and easy to clean.

ENERGY-EFFICIENT APPLIANCES - It is important to have hard-working, energy-efficient appliances to do the heavy lifting. All of Inglenook’s Cottage Homes are equipped with top-of-the-line Energy Star ® rated appliances.

-       General Electric Profile slide-in gas range unit (20 cubic feet, self cleaning)

-       General Profile OTR Microwave & convection oven (1.7 cubic feet, 1000 watts)

-       General Electric Profile bottom freezer/refrigerator unit complete with ice maker (20 cubic feet)

-       General Electric Profile built-in dishwasher unit complete with a tall tub (24’’ wide)

-       Garbage disposal with 1/2 horsepower

BATH/KITCHEN FAUCETS – Finishing off the kitchen and bathroom, Moen®, the #1 faucet brand, has a selection of thoughtfully designed options to choose.

 

MECHANICAL SYSTEMS - Quality mechanical systems keep our homes operating at ideal temperatures year-round. To keep cool, each home has an air conditioner unit with 13-plus SEER (cooling efficiency). Each unit is a single-stage operation with a 10-year compressor and coil limited warranty and a 5-year functional parts limited warranty. To keep warm and toasty, our homes have a single-stage heating gas furnance (90% heating efficiency, 4-speed blower). Each home also incorporates PEX water supply lines.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS - Each home has a 200-amp service panel and a $1,600 light fixture allowance.

FOUNDATION FUNDAMENTALS - We use Tuff-N-Dri waterproofing to provide seamless, long-term water protection with a 30-year manufacturer’s limited warranty.

FRAMING - We frame our homes with 6-inch thick exterior walls. The added 2-inch thickness, versus the standard 4-inch, provides more room for insulation to keep maintenance costs and energy use to a minimum.

EXTERIOR - The exteriors are finished with Hardie® plank siding and a colorful coat of paint of the homeowner’s choice.

WINDOWS & DOORS - Energy Star ® Andersen 400 series fiberglass window units with Low-E insulated glass bring loads of natural light in and keep the weather out. Not to be outshined, our doors are Masonite ® solid core interior doors known for durability and quality. The garage doors are insulated and have keyless entry.

THERMAL & MOISTURE PROTECTION - Inglenook homes are topped with CertainTeed Landmark composition shingles available in weather wood or driftwood. Durable and beautiful, these shingles are built to last with a 30-year manufacturer’s warranty. Beneath the roof and within the walls, we employ the highest quality insulation.

-       R-27 Insulation in cottage exterior walls.

In the end, we want to build a home that fits your life.  We have some Inglenook homeowners happily build directly from our Cottage Home floorplans with limited, if any, additions.  We also have other Inglenook homeowners customize a floorplan to add an office above the garage, a wrap around porch, or even move a wall here or there. Our builder, Casey, works hand-in-hand with our architects, Ross and Karen, to find the best solution to build a home for the way you live.
