Inglenook of Zionsville Debuts a Little Free Library

We are very excited to debut Inglenook of Zionsville’s Little Free Library! Little Free Libraries are a wonderful example of community connection and a perfect fit for our vibrant Pocket Neighborhood.

As of November 2016, there were over 50,000 registered Little Free Library book exchanges in all 50 U.S. states and over 70 countries around the world.  We are proud that Inglenook of Zionsville has joined the ranks.

Pocket Neighborhood Design Detail - Eyes on the Commons

At the heart of Inglenook’s Pocket Neighborhood living is the unique community design.  Each home is tucked into a pocket of 4-12 homes.  This pocket of homes becomes a neighborhood within a neighborhood. Neighbors know each other’s names, their children’s names, and their pets.  The community is an extended family looking out for one another.  As a current Inglenook homeowner put it, “helping hands, shared resources, a watchful eye out for and on you, a shared cup of coffee or glass of wine.  If you're on your front porch, you can count on sharing a moment with whomever's out!”
